27-11-1979 l PHN 9350 Abstract. "high-voltage generating device" A high-voltage generating device which compri- ses a transformer whose secondary coil is subdivided into sections which are series-connected via diodes. The beginning of the first section is connected to a point of fixed potential via a further diode. The beginning and the end of the first section are also con- nected to this point via capacitors. As a result, the voltage on a tapping lead which is connected, for example before the second section, has a value which amounts to from one to two times the voltage difference across a section, as desired.
