Abstract The invention relates to an insulating disk (2) composed of electrically insulating and thermally con- ducting material. According to the invention, one side (8) of said insulating disk (2) is provided centrally with a recess (10) whose cross section is equal to a cross section of a component (4, 6). Consequently, the value of the extinction voltage of the partial discharge and the creeping-discharge and flashover resistance are increased substantially by means of a surface design of said insulating disk (2).
