HIGH VOLTAGE POWER CABLE TERMINATOR WITH RIDGED CONNECTOR BORE ABSTRACT The connecting lug of an electrical terminator, which connects the exposed end of a shielded cable conductor to a second conductor, has a hood portion with a closed bore for receiving the exposed end of the conductor, threaded openings extending through the side of the bore and set screws received therein for forming a compression fit when torqued against the end of the conductor. Ridges formed in the sidewall of the bore opposite the bearing surfaces of the set screws provide for an improved compression fit of the conductor within the bore.
