A high voltage supply circuit to drive a light source in an optical sensor system. The high voltage supply provides a high voltage output to the light source during the start of an on time for the light source to decrease current rise time through the light source. After the start of the light source on time, the high voltage output is disconnected from the circuit and a current source provides current output to the light source to drive the light source during the remainder of the light source on time.
La présente invention concerne un circuit d'alimentation en tension élevée utilisé pour exciter une source lumineuse dans un système de capteur optique. L'alimentation en tension élevée produit une sortie à tension élevée pour la source lumineuse au début d'une période de fonctionnement de la source lumineuse pour réduire le temps de montée du courant à travers la source lumineuse. Après le début de la période de fonctionnement de la source lumineuse, la sortie à tension élevée est déconnectée du circuit et une source de courant produit une sortie de courant pour la source lumineuse afin d'exciter la source lumineuse pendant le reste de la période de fonctionnement de la source lumineuse.
