The conventional high voltage elements (1, 8) constituting it are located in such a way that the ground level (2) is situated in the central zone and from this zone the negative potential progressively increases towards one of the ends (3) while the positive potential progressively increases towards the opposite end (4). It is preferably applicable to radiogenic vessels (9), which also present the particular feature that all the elements constituting them present a voltage distribution identical to that of the transformer, in order to establish equipotential lines that do not require the incorporation of insulating elements, and which also enable the elements to be positioned very close to each other in such a way that the volume, its weight and its cost are considerably reduced.

L'invention concerne un transformateur haute tension constitué d'éléments à haute tension classiques (1, 8) placés de manière que le niveau de terre (2) se situe dans la zone centrale. A partir de cette zone, le potentiel négatif en direction d'une des extrémités (3) augmente progressivement, ainsi que le potentiel positif en direction de l'extrémité opposée (4). L'invention s'applique, de préférence, à des cuves radiogéniques (9) se caractérisant, de plus, en ce que tous les éléments les constituant présentent une distribution de tension identique à celle du transformateur, afin d'établir des lignes équipotentielles ne nécessitant pas l'incorporation d'éléments isolants et permettant, de plus, de situer les éléments très près les uns des autres de manière à réduire considérablement leur volume, leur poids et leur coût.
