A high voltage winding having a jointed, multi-wire, electrically insulated cable (10) being part of an electrical machine, a method of jointing said insulating conductor at manufacture, assembly or repair, and an electrical machine having such a high voltage winding. The multi-wire insulated cable comprises a core having a plurality of conductor wires (12, 23, 33, 43a, 43b, 53a, 53b, 53c, 63, 73), electrically insulated from each other, strands and a multi-layer cable insulation provided around the composite multi-wire conductor. The cable insulation comprises a first, inner semiconductive layer (14) surrounding the conductor, a layer of a solid insulation (16) provided around the inner semiconductive layer, and a second, outer semiconductive layer (18) surrounding the solid insulation. The joint connects and electrically contacts two cable cores (20, 30, 50, 60, 70). All strands in each cable core are at the joint arranged in electrical contact with each other.

L'invention concerne un enroulement haute tension comprenant un câble multifil (10) à isolation électrique et assemblé, faisant partie d'une machine électrique, un procédé d'assemblage dudit conducteur isolant lors de sa fabrication, de son montage ou de sa réparation, et une machine électrique comprenant ledit enroulement haute tension. Le câble multifil isolé comprend une âme constituée de plusieurs fils (12, 23, 33, 43a, 43b, 53a, 53b, 63, 73) isolés les uns des autres sur le plan électrique, des faisceaux et une isolation de câble multifil étant prévus autour du conducteur multifil composite. L'isolation du câble se compose d'une première couche semi-conductrice interne (14) entourant le conducteur, d'une couche d'isolation solide (16) autour de ladite couche semi-conductrice interne, et d'une deuxième couche semi-conductrice externe (18) entourant l'isolation solide. Le joint connecte et met en contact électrique deux âmes (20, 30, 50, 60, 70) de câble. Tous les faisceaux de chaque âme de câble sont mis, au niveau du joint, en contact électrique les uns avec les autres.
