The invention relates to a composite material which is produced by mixing with water 100 parts by weight of a binder, from 250 to 800 parts by weight of a steel-based shot whose granulometric distribution ranges from 120 µm to 3000µm, from 10 to 15 parts by weight of a non-compressed silicon vapour and a super-plasticiser highly water reducing agent. The ratio of water quantity by weight and the quantity by weight of the hydraulic binder ranges from 0.16 to 0.25. The inventive composite material exhibits a high abrasion resistance index (I) which is measured according to a C.N.R. protocol and ranges from 0.15 to 1.0, the grain D10 size value of the shot is at least by eight times greater than the grain D90 size value of the hydraulic binder.
Un matériau composite est obtenu, en mélangeant avec de l'eau, 100 parties en poids de liant, entre 250 et 800 parties en poids de grenaille à base d'acier ayant une distribution granulométrique comprise entre 120µm et 3000µm, entre 10 et 15 parties en poids de fumée de silice non densifiée et d'un superplastifiant très haut réducteur d'eau. Le rapport entre la quantité en poids d'eau et la quantité en poids de liant hydraulique est compris entre 0,16 et 0,25. Le matériau composite présente une résistance à l'abrasion très élevée un indice d'abrasion (I) mesuré selon le protocole C.N.R compris entre 0,15 et 1,0, la valeur de la taille de grain D10 de la grenaille étant au moins huit fois supérieure à la valeur de la taille de grain D90 du liant hydraulique.
