The present invention relates to ubiquitous/universal processes for establishing cells capable of stable high yield expression of a recombinant gene with human glycosylation pattern, and for establishing stable universal precursor cells available for insertion of arbitrary target genes. The invention further relates to the cells obtainable by said processes.
