Disclosed are: a bean which contains zinc in its fruit body in a high content; and a method for producing the bean. Specifically disclosed are: a fruit body of a bean other than an azuki bean, which contains zinc in an amount of 5.5 mg/100 g or more; and a method for producing a bean containing zinc in its fruit body in an amount of 4.0 mg/100 g or more, which comprises the step of spraying a solution containing zinc at a concentration of 0.01 to 2 wt% onto the surface of a leaf or a part to which a pod is adhered of an Azuki bean at the heading stage or later.

L'invention concerne : un haricot qui contient du zinc dans son corps de fruit en grande quantité ; et un procédé de production d'haricots. L'invention concerne en particulier : un corps de fruit d'un haricot, autre qu'un haricot azuki, qui contient du zinc dans une quantité de 5.5 mg/100 g ou plus ; et un procédé de production d'un haricot contenant du zinc dans son corps de fruit dans une quantité de 4.0 mg/100 g ou plus qui comprend l'étape de pulvériser une solution contenant du zinc à une concentration allant de 0.01 à 2% en poids sur la surface d'une feuille ou d'une partie à laquelle adhère une cosse d'un haricot azuki au moment de l'épiaison ou plus tard.
