There have been provided by the present invention a higher .alpha.-olefin copolymer which has an intrinsic viscosity [~], as measured in decalin at 135°C, of 0.1 to 10 dl/g, and comprises polymer units derived from 95 - 30 parts by mol of a higher .alpha.-olefin of C6-20, 5 - 70 parts by mol of an aromatic ring-containing vinyl monomer represented by the formula [I] (total of the higher .alpha.-olefin and the vinyl monomer are 100 parts by mol), and 0.01 to 30 % by mol of a non-conjugated diene represented by the formula [II]; <see fig.I> [I] wherein n is an integer of 0 to 5, and R1, R2 and R3 are each independently H or C1-8 alkyl; <see fig.II> [II] wherein n is an integer of 1 to 5, R4 is C1-4 alkyl, R5 and are each independently H or C1-8 alkyl but are not H simultaneously, a process for the preparation thereof, a higher .alpha.-olefin copolymer composition comprising [A] the higher .alpha.-olefin copolymer and [B] a diene rubber, and a rubber molded product comprising a vulcanized product of the higher .alpha.-olefin copolymer.
Dans la présente invention, on offre un copolymère d'alphaoléfine supérieure dont l'indice limite de viscosité [ ~], mesuré dans la décaline à 135 degrés C, est de 0,1 à 10 dl/g, et qui comprend des motifs dérivés de 95 - 30 parties par mole d'une alpha-oléfine supérieure en C6-C20, 5 - 70 parties par mole d'un monomère de vinyle contenant un noyau aromatique représenté par la formule [I] (le total de l'alpha-oléfine supérieure et du monomère de vinyle s'élevant à 100 parties par mole), et 0,01 à 30 % en mole d'un diène non conjugué représenté par la formule [II]; <voir fig.I> [I] où n est un nombre entier compris entre 0 et 5, et R1, R2 et R3 sont indépendamment un H ou un alkyle en C1-C8; <voir fig.II> [II] où n est un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 5, R4 est un alkyle en C1-C4, R5 et sont indépendamment un H ou un alkyle en C1-C8, mais ne sont pas simultanément un H; on offre également un procédé pour la préparation de ce produit, une composition de copolymère d'alpha-oléfine supérieure comprenant [A] le copolymère d'alpha-oléfine supérieure et [B] un caoutchouc diénique, et un produit moulé en caoutchouc comprenant un produit vulcanisé du copolymère d'alphaoléfine supérieure.
