The invention relates to a process for preparing polyorganosiloxane-containing emulsions having an average particle size of less than 0.3 µm in which, in a first step, (A) a concentrate is prepared by mixing a polyorganosiloxane with water and an emulsifier which is soluble in the polyorganosiloxane. and, in a second step, (B) the concentrate thus obtained is diluted with water to the desired polyorganosiloxane concentration. These emulsions can be used for impregnating fibres and fabrics.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation d'émulsions contenant un polyorganosiloxane ayant une granulométrie moyenne inférieure à 0,3 micromètre dans lequel, dans une première étape, (A) un concentré est préparé en mélangeant un polyorganosiloxane avec de l'eau et un émulsifiant qui est soluble dans le polyorganosiloxane, et, dans une deuxième étape, (B) le concentré ainsi obtenu est dilué avec de l'eau à la concentration de polyorganosiloxane recherchée. Ces émulsions peuvent être utilisées pour l'imprégnation des fibres et des tissus.
