A highly rigid polypropylene resin which has an MI of 0.1-1.2 g/10 min as measured at a temperature of 230 ~C under a load of 2,160 kg and satisfies the following relationship between elongational viscosity, Y(Pas), and MI: 2.0 x 105 x MI-0.68 <= Y <= 8.0 x 105 x MI-0.68. The resin can provide large blown parts that are lightweight and excellent in rigidity, dimensional stability and thermal resistance, and has a good drawdown resistance.
L'invention concerne une résine de polypropylène très rigide présentant un indice de fusion (IF) de 0,1 à 1,2 g/10 mn à une température de 230 ~C sous une charge de 2,160 kg, avec le rapport suivant entre la viscosité à l'allongement Y(Pas) et l'indice de fusion: 2,0 x 10?5¿ x IF?-0,68¿ <= 8,0 x 10?5¿ x IF?-0,68¿. Cette résine permet de produire des pièces soufflées de taille importante, légères, et présentant d'excellentes propriétés de rigidité, de stabilité dimensionnelle, de résistance thermique et de résistance à la striction.
