In order to provide a pre-assembled, relocatable building structure which can be transported by road from one site to another, a metal skeleton (318) which is formed of 6 x 2 inch rectangular cross section hollow steel tubing, is welded together and provided with horizontally extending anchor brackets (324) at the bottom of each vertically extending column member (330). These anchor pads (324) allow the building to be lowered onto foundations in which anchor bolts (104) are imbedded, and bolted in place. The foundations are formed so as to take the form of continuous elongate footers (102) which break the passage of wind which tends to flow sideways under the housing structure. A shallow crawl space (105) can be formed between the foundation footers to facilitate service connections. Metal brackets (301, 302, 303, 304) are used to enclose or encapsulate the edges of the panels in a manner which prevents the direct contact with the wind.
Pour obtenir cette structure de construction deplaçable et pré-assemblée, transportable par route d'un site à un autre, on soude un squelette métallique (318), formé de barres d'acier creuses à section rectangulaire de 6 x 2 pouces, et on le munit de pattes d'ancrage (324), orientées horizontalement au bas de chaque colonne verticale (330), dont les tampons (324) permettent de faire descendre cette construction sur des fondations où sont noyés et boulonnés sur place des boulons d'ancrage (104). Ces fondations prennent la forme de socles allongés continus (102) qui brisent le passage du vent, lequel tend à s'orienter latéralement sous cette structure de construction. On peut ménager une galerie technique peu profonde entre les socles des fondations pour faciliter des connexions de service. On utilise des pattes métalliques (301, 302, 303, 304) pour enfermer ou enrober des bords de panneaux de façon à leur éviter un contact direct avec le vent.
