A B S T R A C T A hinge acting as an articulated connection between a flap and a sidewall, in particular for a railway goods truck, is such that a part (10 or 11) of the hinge (S) can be slid into position into longitudinal grooves (6 and 7) in the flap section and sidewall (1). The longitudinal grooves (6 and/or 7) as such are provided in facing edges (3 and/or 4) of the flap section (2) and the sidewall (1) a distance (a) apart, and the same time creating a shoulder (29). A part of the hinge (S) forms a fork (10) with turret-like projections (8 and 9), between which the other part in the form of a tongue (11) engages. Both parts are connected by a bolt and releasably secured in the corresponding longitud- inal groove. (Figure 2) - 1 -
