A B S T R A C T A hinge which is to be secured to the frame of a piece of furniture. A mounting body, an intermediate member and a hinge arm are adjustably connected. There are further provided an adjusting screw and a holding screw. The adjusting screw is mounted in the intermediate member, aligned perpendicularly to the hinge axle and lying in a plane which is parallel to the closing plane of the door. The adjusting screw has a bolt portion of smaller diameter into which recess a projection of the mounting body engages.
