ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a hinge for use with doors in furniture having a base plate attachable to part of a piece of said furniture in which base plate a hinge arm carrying toggle joints is anchorable, in which at an end remote from mounting points for spindles of the toggle joints the hinge arm is provided with a longitudinal slot which has a screw carried in the base plate passing therethrough, and between the longitudinal slot and the mounting points for said spindles, at least one retaining shoulder is disposed directly or indirectly on the hinge arm, which shoulder engages behind at least one projection on the base plate.
