The present invention pertains to a hinge connection for connecting vehicle parts (1) and (2) of a multiple-unit rail-borne vehicle in an articulated manner by a rolling bearing (3), which is held on a support (2a) projecting beyond the end of one of the vehicle parts (2). The hinge cooperates with a support (1a) projecting beyond the end of another vehicle part (1) in an articulated manner, and permits horizontal and vertical deflecting movements of the vehicle parts (1) and (2) in relation to one another. The design of the hinge connection is such that the rolling bearing is relieved of wear-promoting loads and greater horizontal buckling angles between the connected vehicle parts can be obtained. This objective is accomplished by the support (2a) of the second vehicle part (2) being fixed, via an elastomer hinge (4), to the inner ring (3a) of the rolling bearing (3), which has neither radial nor axial play, at least in the installed state.

La présente invention a trait à une charnière servant à raccorder par articulation des éléments (1 et 2) de véhicule ferroviaire à éléments multiples au moyen d'un roulement à rouleaux (3) retenu par un support (2a) faisant saillie au-delà de l'extrémité d'un des éléments (2) du véhicule ferroviaire. L'articulation coopère avec un support (1a) qui fait saillie au-delà de l'extrémité d'un autre élément du véhicule (1) de manière articulée, et permet le déplacement horizontal et vertical par déflexion des éléments (1 et 2) du véhicule l'un par rapport à l'autre. La conception de la charnière permet de soulager le roulement à rouleaux des charges favorisant l'usure et d'obtenir de plus grands angles de flexion horizontale entre les éléments du véhicule raccordé. Ce but est atteint grâce au support (2a) du deuxième élément (2) du véhicule qui est fixé, au moyen d'une charnière (4) en élastomère, à la cage intérieure (3a) du roulement à rouleaux (3), qui n'a ni jeu radial, ni jeu axial, du moins lorsqu'il est installé.
