11 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hinge pin for a vehicle track having hinged links comprises a pin proper and blocks of rubber that are compressed after the pin has been installed in the shoe(s) of the track, the blocks of rubber extending along the entire length of the pin and being disposed in two coaxial sets with a metal tube being disposed between the two sets, the blocks in the first set being secured to the outside surface of the pin while the blocks in the second set are secured to the outside surface of the intermediate tube.
