- 15 - ABSTRACT HINGE, PREFERABLY FURNITURE HINGE, COMPRISING A CLOSING SPRING A hinge, preferably a furniture hinge, comprising a hinge bracket, which is adapted to be secured to a corpus and is connected to a pivoted hinge part by articulating levers, which constitute an articulating system. One arti- culating lever has adjacent to a pivotal axis a projection, which constitutes a lever arm. A spring-loaded abutment is provided, which is held on a pin, preferably on a pivot pin, which is opposite to said pivotal axis of the lever, and which abutment in a closed position of the hinge exerts a closing pressure on the pivoted hinge part. Said projection has a bearing edge or bearing portion which bears on said abutment and moves during the pivotal movement of the pivoted hinge part.
