Hinged cap (220, 320, 420, 520) with a base (230) and, connected to said base by a hinge, a pivoting lid (240, 340, 440), said base having an outer skirt (231, 331), said lid having a peripheral wall (241, 341), said outer skirt having a depressed area (232) for the finger, and said pivoting top having a detachable tab (245, 345, 445, 545). The outer skirt has a tamper-evident device (234, 334, 434, 534) that takes the form of a raised or depressed part adjacent to said depressed area. This tamper-evident device is preferably a depressed finger hold and is partially covered by a projection (247, 347,447, 547) for gripping the tab.
