ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hinged coin holder having two semi-circular parts hinged together at one curvilinear extremity and releasably joined at the other is improved by the provision of a plurality of internal pockets or compartments which are dimensioned to receive no greater than a predetermined number of coins of a specific denomination, irrespective of the thickness of the coins, so that the maximum desired number of coins may be unerringly packaged in the holder. An improved locking arrangement for the holder also is provided.
