The collar clip comprises a pair of sections connected at one end by an integral flexible hinge, a safety catch at the hinge end of the sections, and a latch at the hinge-remote end of the sections. The safety catch and latch are each alone capable of holding the sections together in an enclosed position around the conduit in the event the hinge fractures.
