HINGED PLASTIC CONTAINER Abstract A container having a tubular body of rectangular cross section and a hinged lid with a shallow depending wall adapted to telescope over the walls of the tubular body when the lid is in a closed position. Interacting projections on the front walls of the body and the lid serve as lid latching means. Additional projections on the side walls of the body member cause compressive forces to be exerted on the side walls when the lid is in a closed position to assure positive engagement of the front latching means.
