The peptides are known as p24-20, p17-8, p17-3, p24-17, p24-22, p24-23, p24-6 and p24-2. Such fragments can be used in a potential vaccine against AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome), and for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
