Hydroxy-substituted pyrazinopyrrolopyridazine dione compounds are inhibitors of HIV integrase and inhibitors of HIV replication. In one embodiment, the dione compounds are of Formula (I) wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are defined herein. The compounds are useful in the prevention and treatment of infection by HIV and in the prevention, delay in the onset, and treatment of AIDS. The compounds are employed against HIV infection and AIDS as compounds per se or in the form of pharmaceutically acceptable salts. The compounds and their salts can be employed as ingredients in pharmaceutical compositions, optionally in combination with other antivirals, immunomodulators, antibiotics or vaccines.

L'invention concerne des composés de pyrazinopyrrolopyridazine diones hydroxy substitués qui sont des inhibiteurs de l'intégrase du VIH et des inhibiteurs de la réplication du VIH. Dans un mode de réalisation, les composés diones sont représentés par la formule (I), dans laquelle R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 et R7 sont tels que définis dans la description. Lesdits composés sont utiles dans la prévention et le traitement de l'infection par le VIH et dans la prévention, le retardement de l'apparition et le traitement du SIDA. Lesdits composés sont utilisés contre l'infection par le VIH et contre le SIDA sous forme de composés tels quels ou sous la forme de sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables. Lesdits composés et leurs sels peuvent être utilisés en tant qu'ingrédients dans des compositions pharmaceutiques, éventuellement en combinaison avec d'autres antiviraux, immunomodulateurs, antibiotiques ou vaccins.
