A hockey game comprises a board member defining thereon a representation of a hockey goaltender in a typical goaltending position with a number of targets being provided on the board member, at least mostly outwardly of the goaltender representation. For instance, the targets may take the form of openings defined through the board member slightly inwardly of the corners thereof. A support system is provided for maintaining the board member in a suitable position, that is between a substantially vertical orientation and an angled, although sufficiently vertical, position to allow the board member to be aimed at. The board member may be embodied in the form of a kit further comprising a hockey stick, which is possibly of reduced dimensions, and suitable balls or pucks.
