The present invention is also directed a game table having at least one bumper. The game table includes an elongated playing surface having a perimeter, wherein the perimeter includes a pair of opposing elongated side portions and a pair of opposing end portions. The game table further includes a side rail extending around the perimeter of the elongated playing surface. At least one goal is located on each of the pair of opposing end portions. At least one bumper is connected to the elongated playing surface. Each of the at least one bumper includes a housing having a top surface, a bottom surface and an outer perimeter wall connecting the top surface to the bottom surface. The bumper further includes a compartment located within the housing. A movable actuator assembly extends along at least a portion of the outer perimeter wall of the housing. A sensing assembly for sensing movement of the actuator assembly is provided which generates a control signal in response to movement of the actuator assembly. The bumper of the game table further includes an audible indicating assembly for providing an audible signal in response to movement of the actuator assembly. A control assembly located in the compartment of the bumper controls the operation of the audible indicating assembly in response to the control signal generated by the sensing assembly.
