ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A goal structure suitable for the playing of hockey has a frame and a net connected to the frame. The frame which is preferably made from tubes of substantially the same diameter includes right and left upright post members each having a horizontal arm extending rearwardly and inwardly towards the center of the goal structure from the top of the post member. A separate L-shaped foot member is connected to the bottom of each post member and has a horizontal portion or foot extending rearwardly and inwardly towards the center of the goal structure. There are also upper and lower rear frame members each with side portions that diverge outwardly from one another in the direction of the front of the goal structure. The side portions of the lower rear frame member are detachably connected in telescopic fashion to the feet. The side portions of the upper frame member are detachably connected in telescopic fashion to the arms. Further rigid frame members are provided to form a strong, yet easily constructed goal structure.
