ABSTRACT HOCKEY STICK AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY THEREOF A hockey stick is provided, comprising a separable blade and handle, releasably engaged to each other by means of an attachment member. The attachment member is releasably engaged to either or both of the shaft of the blade or the lower end of the handle. The attachment member may comprise an aluminum alloy sleeve that is releasably engaged, by means of heat-releasable glue, to the handle and the shaft of the blade.
