A hockey stick structure including a striking member having a board-like striking section and a neck section extending from one end of the striking section by a predetermined angle and length and a stick body having a predetermined length. One end of the stick body is coaxially connected with the neck section. A predetermined portion of the stick body has a cross-section with a shape of an octagon. The octagon has four pairs of opposite sides. One pair of opposite sides of the four pairs of opposite sides are force application opposite sides parallel to a face of the striking section. The length between the force application opposite sides is shorter than the length between any other three pairs of opposite sides.
