HOCKEY TYPE GAME APPARATUS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hockey-type game apparatus comprises a baseboard having a horizontal flat sheet across which a puck can slide. Each of the plurality of players has an upstanding goal wall defined on the sheet which that player must defend. In front of the goal wall is provided a plurality of intervening walls which divides the sheet into a plurality of zones so which the puck must pass before reaching the opponent's goal wall. Each of the goal walls on the intervening walls includes a slot of height less than the height of the wall with the height and width of the slot being sufficient to receive the puck sliding therethrough. The puck is moved by hockey type sticks without a blade so the stick is formed with a blunt end.
