ABSTRACT # 4 A latch for a gate has a latch member pivoted into a latching position. A guard extends bellow the latch member to prevent unintentional movement of the latch member. The latch's member can be move by animals from under. There is a guard so they can't push up the latch's member from under. The latch's member is spring load when you close, the door is automatically lock. On your way out you just turn the handle upright, push and it's open. This latch is reversible it could be use either side of the door or gate .it's easy to install and practical.
