ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE. The hoisting device has means for weighing the load and is particularly compact, simple and reliable. For this purpose a pivotal arm to which a hook is connec- ted is adapted in such manner as to define a cylinder, a piston and a chamber filled with an incompressible fluid. This chamber is connected to a pressure gauge which displays information representing the pressure prevailing in the chamber, which pressure is proportional to the load sus- pended from the hook. - 1 -
