A holder for an artificial tooth includes a holder body (40) having an upper end formed with a plurality of locking hooks (44) and a lower end formed with an arcuate base portion (41) radially extending outwardly therefrom. Thus, the base portion of the holder body functions as the neck portion of the artificial tooth, so that the dentist only needs to directly place the artificial tooth onto the holder body without having to touch the gum of the patient, thereby facilitating the dentist mounting the artificial tooth onto the holder body.
