HOLDER FOR LIVESTOCK HEATING LAMP ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A holder for a heating lamp for use in livestock farming comprises a reflector of bowl shape with a flat base carrying a socket for the lamp. The flat base also inclu- des a plurality of holes around the socket through which air can pass to cool the socket. A cover plate spaced from the base and extending beyond the periphery of the base is attached to the base to prevent moisture passing through the openings in the base. A downwardly curved protective bar extends across the open mouth of the bowl to prevent the bowl falling directly onto its mouth.
