23968-342 ABSTRACT A holding and supporting anchor (1) to be cemented-in in a borehole in a mounting base of concrete, masonry, or the like (Figure 13) has a supporting section (2) protruding out of the mounting base (30) and is provided with a contact surface (6) for supporting at least one plate (P), and with a longitudinal section (4) inserted at least partly in the borehole (31). The longi- tudinal section (4) of anchor (1) is a tubular section with the mantle of the tube being provided with surface deformations such as deformations (10,10') and/or attachments protruding from the surface of the anchor (l) (Figure 4) and spaced in the longitudinal direction of longitudinal section (4). The surface deformations (recesses 10 and/or attachments 10') are located symmetrically with respect to the horizontal plane (X-X) and/or to the vertical plane (Y-Y) of the tubular cross section and outside each of these planes.
