A cabinet and control system for maintaining a food product within a predetermined temperature range for a holding period of time not exceeding a predetermined maximum time. The cabinet comprises a housing having a front panel and a passageway opening at the front panel. The passageway is capable of receiving at least two containers of the food product. A temperature element positioned in said passageway maintains the passageway within the predetermined temperature range. A processing circuit tracks the amount of time each container of food product remains within the passageway. The processing circuit provides a signal output indicating which container has been within said passageway the longest and an alarm signal when either container remains within said passageway beyond said maximum time. A display positioned onsaid housing proximate to said passageway receives the said signal output and indicates which container has been within the passageway the longest. The display also receives the alarm signal and indicates which one of the containers has been within the passageway for a period of time exceeding the predetermined maximum time.
Meuble de rangement et système de contrôle pour conserver un produit alimentaire dans les limites d'une plage de température préétablie pendant une période de temps ne dépassant pas un délai maximal préétabli. Le meuble comprend un châssis muni d'un panneau avant et d'un passage qui communique avec le panneau avant. Le passage peut accepter au moins deux contenants de produit alimentaire. Un régulateur de température placé dans ledit passage maintient ce dernier dans les limites de la plage de température préétablie. Un circuit de traitement surveille le temps de séjour de chaque contenant de produit alimentaire dans le passage. Le circuit de traitement fournit un signal de sortie indiquant quel contenant est demeuré dans le passage le plus longtemps et un signal d'alarme si l'un ou l'autre des contenants est demeuré dans ledit passage au-delà du temps maximal. Un afficheur placé sur ledit châssis à proximité dudit passage reçoit ledit signal de sortie et indique quel contenant est demeuré dans le passage le plus longtemps. L'afficheur reçoit aussi le signal d'alarme et indique lequel des contenants est demeuré dans le passage pendant une période de temps dépassant le délai maximal préétabli.
