The present invention relates to a holding device for a respiratory mask. Said device is composed of a hub (1), removably fitted to the respiratory mask shells and comprising two lateral elements which allow a fin (2) to be secured on each side of the hub (2), said fin comprising openings, for fastening the harness straps (3, 4) which are placed around the head and optionally a strap (5), for holding the patient's mouth closed. Said invention generally relates but is not limited to non-invasive mechanical ventilation of airways by a gas generator, or any other medical or non-medical application, permitting the use of said device.

La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de maintien pour masque respiratoire. II est constitué d'une embase (1) s'adaptant de façon amovible aux coques de masque respiratoire et comportant deux éléments latéraux permettant de fixer de chaque côté de l'embase une ailette (2) comportant des ouvertures permettant d'attacher les sangles (3,4) du harnais se positionnant auto'jr de la tête ainsi qu'éventuellement une sangle (5) destinée à assurer le maintien en position fermée de la bouche du patient. Elle se rapporte d'une manière générale et non exhaustive au domaine de la ventilation mécanique non- invasive des voies respiratoires par générateur de gaz ou de toute autre application médicale ou non médicale où ce dispositif peut être utilisé.
