The invention relates to a hollow plastic section, comprising embedded reinforcing elements. Said hollow plastic section is preferably configured as a frame section for windows or doors. According to the invention, the section has several inner chambers which are delimited by separating walls (7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) that extend in the longitudinal direction of the section. Strip-shaped stiffening elements (4, 5, 11, 12, 25) that are not interconnected are used as reinforcing elements. The reinforcing elements can consist of either a metal or embedded bands or strips consisting of fiber- reinforced plastic. Several inner chambers with a small cross-section that are delimited by separating walls (7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) extending in the longitudinal direction of the section are provided.
L'invention concerne un profilé creux en matière plastique comprenant des éléments de renforcement incorporés et se présentant de préférence sous la forme d'un profilé d'encadrement pour des fenêtres ou des portes. Selon l'invention, il présente plusieurs chambres intérieures délimitées par des parois de séparation (7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal du profilé. Les éléments de renforcement se présentent sous la forme de nervures de renforcement (4, 5, 11, 12, 25), non reliées les unes aux autres. Ils peuvent être soit réalisés en métal soit constitués de bandes incorporées en matière plastique renforcée par des fibres. Ce profilé creux comprend plusieurs chambres intérieures présentant une faible section transversale et délimitées par des parois de séparation (7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) qui s'étendent dans le sens longitudinal du profilé.
