A method of analysing a holographic sensor (1) comprising a hologram, wherein interaction of the holographic sensor with a stimulant causes a change in the wavelength of diffracted light from the hologram, comprises the steps of : a) viewing light diffracted by the hologram and specular reflections in an image plane of a lens; b) viewing light diffracted by the hologram and specular reflections in a focal plane of the lens or of a different lens; c) interacting the holographic sensor with a stimulant and determining the change in the wavelength of diffracted light; and d) using the information obtained to determine a property of the stimulant or of the sensor. A device suitable for use in such a method comprises a lens (3), means for detecting light in the image (4) and focal (5) planes of the lens, and image-processing software.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'analyse d'un détecteur holographique comprenant un hologramme. L'interaction du détecteur holographique avec un stimulant provoque un changement de la longueur d'onde de lumière diffractée provenant de l'hologramme. Ce procédé d'analyse consiste à (a) visualiser la lumière diffractée par l'hologramme et des réflexions spéculaires dans un plan d'image d'une lentille, (b) visualiser une lumière diffractée par l'hologramme et des réflexions spéculaires dans un plan focal de la lentille ou d'une lentille différente, (c) faire interagir le détecteur holographique avec un stimulant et déterminer le changement de longueur d'onde de la lumière diffractée, et (d) utiliser les informations obtenues afin de déterminer une propriété du stimulant ou du détecteur. Un dispositif approprié à une utilisation dans un tel procédé comporte une lentille, un moyen de détection de lumière dans l'image et les plans focaux, et un logiciel de traitement d'images.
