ABSTRACT Multi-functional, demountable fitness apparatus is disclosed for home use as opposed to commercial or institutional use which, during assembly is completely self-aligning, is easy assemble, and is extremely strong and stable when assembled. The apparatus has a base member and a pair of rear, upright members extending upwardly and inwardly to a joint. An upper horizontal cantilever member extends forwardly from this joint. A vertical member is spaced from the rear upright members and is connected between the horizontal member and the base and has a glide assembly with a plurality of selectively engageable weights slidably mounted thereon. A handle bar is adjustable attached to the glide assembly for moving same directly, and various cables and sheaves are used to raise the glide assembly indirectly by operating various attachments connected to the cables. The apparatus also includes an exercise bench having a leg curl assembly.
