A home security surveillance system has a plurality of terminal detectors one of which functions as a master, and the other function as a slave to constitute an in-house alarm network. The in- house network is linked to a server on the side of a service provider to transmit an aid-requesting signal through a gateway unit upon detection of a hazardous condition at each of the terminals. Upon detecting a hazardous condition, each slave transmits a hazard signal through a first communication network to the master which responds to transmit the aid-requesting signal. The aid- requesting signal is transmitted through a second communication network which has a communication protocol different from the first communication network such that the server can receive the aid-requesting signal either from the master or the slave for fail-safe acknowledgement of the hazard condition detected in the customer's home.
L'invention porte sur un système de surveillance de sécurité de domicile qui comprend une pluralité de détecteurs terminaux dont l'un joue le rôle de maître et les autres jouent le rôle d'esclaves pour constituer un réseau d'alarmes interne. Le réseau interne est lié à un serveur du côté d'un fournisseur de services pour transmettre un signal de demande d'aide par l'intermédiaire d'une unité passerelle suite à la détection d'une situation dangereuse au niveau de chacun des terminaux. Lors de la détection d'une situation dangereuse, chaque esclave transmet un signal de danger par un premier réseau de communication au maître qui répond en envoyant le signal de demande d'aide. Le signal de demande d'aide est transmis par un second réseau de communication qui utilise un protocole de communication différent de celui du premier réseau de communication de telle manière que le serveur peut recevoir le signal de demande d'aide en provenance soit du maître soit de l'esclave pour un accusé de réception à sécurité intégrée de la situation de danger détectée au domicile de l'abonné.
