ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE New homogeneous aqueous compositions contain- ing at least one agrochemically active compound, active com- pound for combating pests in the household and hygiene sect- ors and/or pharmacologically active compounds are disclosed. The compositions comprise 0.01 to 50 percent by weight of the active compound and 0.1 to 25 percent by weight of at least one alkylaryl polyglycol ether. Also present in the composition is 0.1 to 30 percent by weight of cyclohexanone and water. The composition can additionally contain other substances. By use of the emulsifier composition of the invention concentrates having a relatively high amount of active compound can be prepared. The cyclohexanone/emulsi- fier composition is particularly effective in providing clear solutions of compounds whose normal solubility in water at 20°C is not more than 0.5 percent by weight.
