The present invention provides isolated homogeneous polyfunctionalized proteins (e.g., erythropoietin), isolated glycopeptides, and a method for preparing polyfunctionalized peptides and/or proteins via cysteine-free native chemical ligation. In certain embodiments, the invention provides an isolated homogeneous polyfunctionalized protein having the structure (I). In certain other embodiments, the invention provides an isolated glycopeptide having Formula (II). In certain other embodiments, the inventive method is a method for preparing a polyfunctionalized peptide comprising a peptidic backbone made up of four or more amino acids, wherein two or more non-adjacent amino acids are independently substituted with a moiety having the structure (III) -LH. wherein A and L1 are as defined herein.
La présente invention concerne de nouvelles protéines polyfonctionnalisées, homogènes et isolées (une érythropoïétine, par exemple), des glycopeptides isolés, ainsi qu'une méthode de préparation de peptides et/ou de protéines polyfonctionnalisés par ligation chimique native exempte de cystéine. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne une protéine polyfonctionnalisée représentée par la structure générale (I). Dans certains autres modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne un glycopeptide isolé représenté par la formule générale (II). Dans certains autres modes de réalisation, la méthode de l'invention est une méthode destinée à la préparation d'un peptide polyfonctionnalisé comprenant un squelette peptidique constitué d'au moins quatre acides aminés, au moins deux acides aminés non adjacents étant substitués indépendamment par une fraction représentée par la formule générale (III) dans laquelle A et L1 désignent des éléments définis dans la description.
