ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Compositions useful in the treatment of hair are pro- vided. The compositions contain, in an aqueous medium, at least one hair treating agent and honey in an amount suffi- cient to affect the characteristics of the hair, such as its luster, body, manageability, and wet combability. Preferably, the honey constitutes about 15%, by weight, of the composi- tions, has a substantially acid pH, contains a trace of bees- wax, and contains more than a trace of higher polysaccharides, such as dextrins. The hair treating agents constitute pre- ferably from about 25% to 50%, by weight, of the compositions.
