The invention concerns a section of cellular structure made of thermoplastic resin in which the cells are arranged substantially perpendicular to the axis of the section. The section is made with an extrusion apparatus consisting of an extrusion head and extrusion tooling of which the extrusion head is divided into three channels substantially superimposed opening substantially into the corresponding three channels of the extrusion tooling and at the opposite end being connected with the feed conduit of at least one extrusion device, the two outer channels being used to carry the material constituting the outer walls of the section or tube and the intermediate channel being used to carry the material for fabricating the walls of the cells, the said apparatus being distinguished in that each of the outer channels is separated from the intermediate channel by an annex channel, ending at the outlet in line with those of the other channels and of which the intake, outside the apparatus, is designed to be connected with a means of varying pressure. The section is obtained by creating an alternative pressure variation in the annex channels.
L'invention concerne un profilé à structure alvéolaire en résine thermoplastique dont les alvéoles sont disposés sensiblement perpendiculairement à l'axe du profilé. Le profilé est réalisé au moyen d'un appareillage d'extrusion constitué d'une tête d'extrusion et d'un outillage d'extrusion dont la tête d'extrusion est divisée en trois canaux sensiblement superposés débouchant sensiblement au niveau des trois canaux correspondants de l'outillage d'extrusion et à l'opposé étant reliés au canal d'alimentation d'au moins une extrudeuse, les deux canaux extérieurs servant au passage de la matière constituant les parois externes du profilé ou du tube et le canal intermédiaire servant au passage de la matière pour la fabrication des parois des alvéoles, ledit appareillage étant caractérisé en ce que chacun des canaux extérieurs est séparé du canal intermédiaire par un canal annexe, aboutissant en sortie dans l'alignement de celles des autres canaux et dont l'entrée, à l'extérieur de l'appareillage, est destinée à être reliée à un moyen de variation de pression. Le profile est obtenu en créant une variation de pression alternative dans les canaux annexes.
