ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An arrangement for extracting a noxious gas-air mixture which ascends from coke during ejection of the coke from an oven chamber of a battery of coke ovens comprises a hood for connection to an extraction system and movable along the battery in the longitudinal direction thereof. At least one baffle attached to the hood is adapted to extend in the longitudinal direction.
