Abstract A hood for an internal combustion engine compartment has an air precleaner and a muffler mounted on the underside of the hood. The collar connecting the precleaner to the engine air intake, and the pipe from the exhaust manifold to the muffler are both connected by means which are constructed and arranged to be releasable with the hood in position, so the hood, precleaner and muffler constitute a removable module.
