ABSTRACT An air venting apparatus for use with air discharging blowers, fans, including an air outlet duct, flap valve which pivots at top of the assembly by gravity to close the outlet end of the duct, and one spring clip which acts on valve flap to retain the same in the closed position. Each vent leaf spring clip maintains enough force to retain valve flap in the closed position against pressure differentials developed by the outside wind, but is fabricated to allow opening of the valve flap against pressure differentials developed by the air discharge blower (fan). Unique design of spring clip allows it to be installed on various makes of vent assemblies. Location of spring clip and strength also prevents small birds and animals from entering the vent system. An energy saving apparatus.
