ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A connector is provided for connecting a hooked-end windshield wiper arm to a windshield wiper blade. The connector is mounted on the blade and has a transversely operative spring-urged latch which seats beyond the hook of the hooked-end arm so as to trap the hook between the latch and the pivot on the blade so as to retain the hook in position on the blade. Transverse movement of the latch releases the hook making it possible to remove the arm from the blade.
